About Candace

Hi there!

My name is Candace. I moved here to Banner Elk, North Carolina May 1 2009 from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, where I grew up. I live here with my boyfriend Nick. Many ask why I moved here; “It’s not like many people know of this small town.” During the fall and winter I work at the Floridian located in Palm City, Florida. I heard so many great things about North Carolina that I decided to give it a try. I needed a small change.

I am currently a seasonal employee at Artisanal Restaurant. I work at night and was finding myself going crazy during the day. My love for my 7 year old cat, Zoee, sparked the idea of developing my business. It wasn’t until one day I was having a conversation with a member I know from Florida that I started really believing I could do this. As a Business and Marketing student I have the knowledge and the resources.

So here I am. Willing and waiting to serve you and give personalized care and attention to your 4 Legged Friend.

Loves: her baby (stuffed kitty toy that looks just like her), hair ties, string, aluminum balls, toothbrushes, straws, her kitty treats, cat naps, and sleeping in bed in her mommy’s right arm.

About Zoee: She is a handful. She constantly jumps on the counter when she knows she isn’t suppose to. She insists on knocking on the bedroom door at 3 a.m to be let out.
